Michael Schumacher looks to have made the 2009 season for F1 fans by returning to replace the injured Felipe Massa for Scuderia Ferrari at the Valencia Grand Prix. With nothing to lose, Schumacher, will undoubtedly be in a great position to embarrass the current batch of F1 drivers,

and sets him up nicely for the showdown with Lewis Hamilton that so many lamented would never happen. Some critics claimed that Schumacher's superior car whilst at Ferrari and a relative lack of competition on the grid meant that his 7 world championship titles were perhaps not as impressive as they sounded - in reality, he is one of the all-time great drivers and a hero to the Tifosi, and we have no doubt that he will be up there with the best of the current drivers, even though he is nursing a neck injury and is relatively (for an F1 driver!) unfit.
